Named for the Hawaiian word meaning toward the sea, Makai is inspired by that quiet pull. Handcrafted from full-grain leather and stitched by hand in Texas, it's made for those who find peace in open skies, salt air, and the simple reminder that sometimes the best way forward is to pause for a moment and take it all in.

About the Name: Makai

In Hawaiian, makai means toward the sea. It's more than a direction. It's part of everyday island life, where people naturally orient themselves by the mountains (mauka) and the ocean (makai).

This bracelet reflects that enduring connection to the water and the sense of peace, perspective, and possibility that so often comes with it.
